What is Fark?

FARK [fark.com] is a news aggregator website in which users can submit links to news articles with their own custom and often humorous headlines. Users can also comment on linked articles.

A webpage that reads "Fark.com: it's not news, it's fark." A navbar reads: Fark (active), TotalFark, MyFark, About/FArQ, Contests, Store, Contact Us, Mobile. A secondary navbar reads: Main, Discussion, Sports, Business, STEM, Entertainment, Fandom, D'awww, Food, Politics. The main content of the page has a large link that reads "Submit a link." Under a heading (Tue March 11, 2025), various links to news articles can be seen next to a number in a speech bubble. They are: Deadline Hollywood, Amusing, "Hmm, a Jack the Ripper comedy? Could be good with a cast like this" (1), Fortune, stupid, "Amazon Prime says it will stream all seven seasons of 'The Apprentice.' Wonder what the host of that show is up to these days" (11), NME, sad, "Rick Springfield wishes he had Jessie's brain" (12), Metro, awkward, "Ne-Yo reveals how he manages four girlfriends. Step one: a calendar app. Step two: a strong Wi-Fi signal. Step three: therapy" (4), JoBlo, awkward, "People will literally form a circle around me and clap their hands like I'm a trained monkey" (12), Cracked, Interesting, "We can only hope, as horses are still far too expensive" (9).
